Fat or Suet

This beef fat (or suet) is from our grass fed steers. Our suet comes from the hard fat that surrounds the kidneys and is located on the inside loin. Suet is naturally high in healthy omega-3 fatty acids and has a variety of uses. It can be rendered to make tallow for cooking and eating; it's a nutrient rich fat that's good for high temperature cooking and deep frying. Tallow can also be used as a base for making high quality skin care products. It can also be used to make puddings, pastry and mincemeat; soap or candles; and also rendered and blended with mealworms, roasted peanuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts and calcium for a tasty treat for birds. (You will be charged based upon actual weight after your order has been assembled.)
